Posted October 16, 2019 09:27:33 The first-year construction vest on the new St. Louis Rams’ field at Lucas Oil Stadium will be made by a construction superintendent with a history of working with a construction company.
According to the St. Charles Post-Dispatch, St. Francis, Ill.-based Construction Vest Solutions was founded in 1999 by Jim Walsh, who previously worked as a structural engineer for the NFL’s St. Vincent College.
In 2009, Walsh started working with the NFL for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which in 2011 became the new team.
“We were always on the lookout for the best engineers for our clients, and Jim was a great fit,” said David Fisk, a spokesman for Construction Vest.
“He had worked with all the major construction companies in the country and was a leader in his field,” Fisk continued.
“He’s been a great partner and I’m glad he’s now with us.”
Construction Vest is known for creating custom-sized, customized construction vest designs, which are then shipped out to NFL teams.
In 2016, Walsh also designed custom-designed uniforms for the San Diego Chargers and Arizona Cardinals.
